Preliminary findings from SCS closure studies

Ontario has announced it will end funding for supervised consumption services (SCS) in June—meaning more closures are imminent. This timely webinar shares preliminary findings from studies examining what SCS closures are already doing on the ground. Researchers from The Margins Lab (MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions, Unity Health Toronto), alongside CRISM Ontario Node partners, explore the impacts on service delivery, frontline staff, and people who rely on these services—and what this means for policy, care, and access moving forward.

Speakers: Farihah Ali (CRISM-ON, CAMH), Uzma Ahmed (MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions), Zoë Dodd (MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions), and Gillian Kolla (Memorial University)
