          Findings/Key points
This paper provides important insights into how people engage with iOAT in the context of broader socio-structural and political forces that frame patient engagement, and subjectivities. This paper characterized how people engaged with iOAT through presentations of three narrative frames—regular and long-term engagers, pain patients, and sporadic and shorter-term engagers—that articulate distinct types of engagement with iOAT.
